Snowy Grouper Trip Limit Reduction

NOAA has determined that the commercial quota for snowy grouper, 344,508 lbs, gutted weight, will be reached on Sept. 30, 2000. 

The commercial trip limit will be reduced from 2,500 lbs to 300 lbs. The reduction will be effective from Oct. 1, 2000 through Dec. 1, 2000. 

Beginning Jan.1, 2000 the trip limit will return to 2,500 lbs until the commercial quota is reached.
