Joey Daniels Receives GSAFF Award

 
NCFA Board Member, Joey Daniels of Wanchese, was honored with the Gulf And South Atlantic Fisheries Foundation's Distinguished Service Award at a December GSAFF Board of Trustees meeting held at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Clearwater, Fla.

Daniels, the Ex-Officio President of the foundation was surprised when the golden eagle, awarded him by none other than NCFA President Jerry Schill, appeared to release a gooey deposit on his highly reflective cranium.

As Mrs. Daniels and NCFA Member Barney White, of Omega Protein, looked on through tears of laughter, Mr. Daniels knew the infamous Jerry Schill sense of humor had once again reared its ugly head. What else could he do but grit his teeth and smile?
