All members receive NCFA's monthly newspaper, Tradewinds, which includes special bulletins regarding legislative issues and various articles concerning fisheries issues.

NCFA sends out a weekly update at the end of every business week. The purpose of this update is to keep members informed of what's going on in the fishing industry, including a list of upcoming meetings. This update is available at no charge via fax or email to members who request it. There is a $25.00 / year charge to send by regular mail.

Members (does not include Associate members) are entitled to one vote at NCFA's annual membership meeting, and may display the official NCFA emblem on company stationery, windows, or vehicles.
